If you really care about second hand stuff, you should not read this.
But if you do love vintage like me and my friend Rachel, and you're ok with second-hand,
then this is a post cut for you.
Rachel and I checked out the
Lookbook today (in the Photography class, hahaha), and we find that many Canadian members got their cute stuff from Value Village.
Rachel is pro at finding vintage cool pieces and she shops alot from Value Village.
SO, we went to the one on Steeles and Dufferin after school.
I bought two belts, one blouse and a cardigan for ONLY 20 bucks!
I will let you guys know when I'm wearing them.
just some tips for shopping in second-hand shop:
-get a cart and throw anything you like at first sight in
-make sure you try them on, coz sometimes it might turns out a little bit disappointing
-wash or even dry clean them before wearing (THIS IS ESSENTIAL)
-if you bought jewelry, put them into some boiling water for some time enough to get rid of the dirtiness
-you could always get things hemmed, or add things to your finds, use your creativity.
GOOD LUCK!
